A change has again taken place in the stall' of our lo^al railway station, Mr C\iro having l>een transferred to Pie want Point. During his stay here. INFi* Oaro has proved himself a most courteous and obliging oilicer, and lie has boon ever ready to assist any local a (Tail*. Much regret is felt at bis departure. On Tbucsdiy evening; Mr F. Foley was billed to give an entertainment in tho school, but owing 1 to the inclement st i + e of ibe weitber only a few rolled up. V v Foley, however, good natuivdly gr.ve a short entertainment to those present free of charg-e. This is the first time an entertainment of this cla-ts has been gi\en here. Mr Foleys cornet playing was first rate, as also were his performances on bottles, nails, coffee pot, and fairy harp. His exhibitions of legerdemain were cleanly done. A feature of the entertainment w,i • his yentriloquial perform mcc, ' O'Keilly ' t lie spe iking doll, was much appreciated. Owing to bid ■weither, Mr Foley postpone:! his enlerlainniunt to Monday niglit, l.")th, when no doubt he will have a crowded house.
