He found the tank full ot apparom ly clean water. Attei looking into tht* matter, the conmnttee pioposed to tiy the effect of placing strips ot netting to keep the buds off, and he recommended a giant of 62 for this. The committee recommended that ihe "Waitana school (not pstinted {or 14 years-) be repainted, and that i'l 10s be granted for a cord for the chimney of Hiikateramea school ; al«o that £o bo gi anted to Glena\,V for an extia window, the light being deficient.
