It was ajso decided $o post a notice in the subscribers' reading room, prohibiting sntoking, as there was an e*tra room provided for cards and smoking. A letter was read from Mr H. S. tyriver (punedin) reEneyelopradiaßrittannica, and it was resolved that an effort be made to secure the book, and that subscription lists be opened up.
