CATXIiB. 157 head of fat cattle were yarded, about half being prime, the rest inferior •ows and heiferß. Best ox beef was in fair demand and brought fully late rates, vthers dull with but few buyers. Best bullocks brought £.1 to J69, a few extra up to 10a, others £5 to £1 ss, cowb and heifers .£2 5s to J£7 ss.
SHEEP. 1275 fat sheep were panned. There was a really brisk sale for well fattened wethera at an advance of Is. Prims young ewes were also saleable at an ad\ance, but aged ewes were not wanted, ]sest wethers brought 12s to 14s 6d, others 9s 6d to lls 6d, best ewes 9s to 11s bd, others 4s 6d to Bs. In fat lambs 554 were penned, and prices fell from Is to Is (3d as compared with last week. Best sold at 8s to 9s 6d, a few up to 10s 9d, others 5s to 7s 6d.
PIGI. Only 55 pigs were yarded »nd they met with a good sale at fully late quotations.
