SHKJ'I I . Only about 600 sheep wore penned. "Wethers sold at an advance of la on last week's fates, and ewes at prune quality and young were sold at up to the prices of last week. Wethers sold at 10s to 13s, ewes 6s 6d to 11s 3d. 495 fat lambs were penned. There was A keen demand and prices were in favour of sellers. Best sold at 08 to 12s 6d, others 6s 6d to 8b 9d.
PIGSi Onlj 38 pigs vrere penhed. Suckers sold at 13s to 18s, slips 18s 6d to 21s, stores 24a to 28s, light baconers 40s to 48s 6d.
GRAIN* Wheat. — The market is still declining. A few lots of prime northern velvet can be sold at up to 3s 9d, and tuscan up to 3b 8d \ ex stoTe» sacks in. Fowl wheat is worth 2s 3d to 2s 6d. Oats. — There has been very little inquiry. Prime milling can he bought for Is lOd to Is 10^d, good feed Is 9d to Is 9£d, medium Is 7d to la Bd, inferior Is 3d to Is 6d ; ex store, sacks extra.
