SHEEP. 2763 fat sheep were penned, of which 72 were merinos. The orosibredi were nearly all wethers, comprising a varied assortment. There was a good demand at prices about on * par with last week. Best crossbred wetlaars fetched 15a to 16s 9d, one or two small lots extra heavy 18i to 19s, medium to good 13i6d to 14s 9d, light Us to 13s, best ewes 13s 6d to 14s 9d, medium 10s 6d to 12t fid. 113 fat Jambs were penned. All kinds of feed are saleable, but milling sorts are difficult to place at feed prices. Quotations for best bright ihort feed ■and milling are 2s to 2s Id, medium to good Is 9d to Is ll|d, inferior Is 3d to Is 8d ; ex store, tacks extra, net. Barley. — Quotations for prime malting are 4s9dto si, medium to good 4s to 4s 6d, inferior to medium 2e 3d to 3« 9d ; ex store, jacks extra, ntt.
