Oats. — The market has been somewhat quiet during the past week, as shippers have shown little inclination to operate at sellers' prices. ,A few sales of shipping lines have t>een eftected at a slight reduction -on late quotations. To-day's quotations from Sydney report an advance in maize, anfl this, if permanent, will probably .have •& beneficial effect on the value of oats. Milling quality is for .the time being neglected. Good to best sells at -2s to 2s O^d, medium to fair Is lOd to Is lid, inferior Is 6d to Is 9d per bushel; sacks extra.
