A MERRY BROWN THRUSH.
"There's a xaeary brown thrush sitting up in-ia tree, Efe's singing to me, he's singing to me, And what does he say, little -girl, little boy? M Oh, the world's running over with joyl Don't you hear ? Don't jou see P "• Hush 1 Loot I In my tree, I'm as happy aajiappy-can be." And the brown thrush keeps saying, " A nest do you see, And five ©ggs,jbid by me, in the old oak *tree 1 Don't -meddle, don't touch ! little girl, IMe'boy ! tOr the world will lose- some of its joy. I ;Now I'm glad 1 now I!m free) And I always shall-'be, If you never J>ring sorrow to me." ?So the merry 'brown thrush sings away In the tree, 'To you and to niej'io you and to .-me, ' And he sings all the day, little girl, 'little boy, "•• Oh, the world's running over with joy 1 But long it must be, Don't you know ? don't you see ? Unless we are as good as can be ?"
