Waimate Public Library Committee meets first Monday in every month. J. H. Dean, secretary. Wahnate Brass Band meets every Monday and Friday. J. Harwpod, band' master ; R. Goldstone, secretary, Waimate Rifles. W. Coltman, captain, Drill alternate Wednesday. Magistrate's Court sits alternate Thursday, St. Augustine's Lodge (N.Z.C.) meets Wednesday on or before full moon. Forester's Lodgo ■ — Every alternate Monday.
