Accounts have been received of a revolt nearPekin. Rebels are on the banks of the' Grand Canal. r ■ ; Robbers are infesting the neighborhood of Tientzin. The Bishop of Victoria had arrived. A memorial for the revision of the treaty goes forward by this mail, from the Chamber of Commerce. The proposed transfer of the mail service, to tJie French is regarded with great disfavor by the Chinese. All hopes of the mail steamer Malespina have been abandoned.
