POSTAL NOTICE.
On and alter the Ist of January, 1867, the following rates of postage will be 'charged on all letters ami newspapers posted in New Zealand hv delivery within the colony :—: — 1. — TOWN LETTERS. Posted at any post ofllce within the colony for deli rery at or from such post office :— Not exceeding half-an-ouncc ... Id. Exceeding half-an-oimee, but not exceeding one ounce ... 2d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 2d. II. — COUNTRY j&ETTEKS. ' Posted at any post office within the colony for delivery at or from any other post office within the same province: — Not exceeding half-an-onnce ... 2d. Exceeding Lalf-an-ouncc, but not exceeding one ounce ... 4d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce ovei* one ounce ... 4d. HI. — INTEEPEOVINCIAL LETTDHS. Posted at any post office within the eolonv for delivery at or from any post office in any other province within the colony : — Not exceeding half-an-ounee ... 3d. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but not exceeding one ounce ... fid. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 6d. On all Newspapers posted within the colony for delivery within the colony, One Penny each.
