Maximilian's body has not yet been sent to Vera Cruz. Santa Anna is still confined in San Juan D'Ulloa. General Oharan was shot on August 21. Carlos Miramon, brother to the Miramon who was shot with Maximilian, is in tho mountains at Sierra Gorda with 26C0 men. General Marquez has not yet been captured. The people are tired of the bloodthirsty rule of Juarez. General Porpirio Diaz is now the papular man. Mexico is on the verge of another revolution. There is no money in the country, and the army is unpaid.
