WARDEN'S COURT.
GOLDSBOROUGH. Thursday, September 19. (Before Michael Keogh, Esq., Warden.) Kemple v. Lorenzo and party. — The defendants were summoned for having illegal possession of the water belonging to complainants' race. L 2 claimed as damages. Judgment for plaintiff with costs of Court and damages L 2.
Dreykluft v. Olds and party. — The complainant stated that defendants had encroached on claim at Piper's. Judgment for plaintiff with costs of Court. If any surplus ground, such is to be measured off western boundary.
Monday, September 23.
Mahoney and mate v. Fagan and party. — Objection to registration of tail race at Taranaki Gully. Case adjourned for assessors to view ground, at Callaghan's Gully.
Salvey and party v. Bourke. — Failing to pay sum of LB, due on agreement made on defendant's admission into a claim at Pipers. Case adjourned till 24th instant, for production of Miner's Right. Bryant and mate v. Adams and mate. — Disposing of two shares in a claim at Lamplough, without holding Miners' Rights. JN T o appearance. Case dismissed.
STAFFORD TOWN. Tuesday, September 24.
Salvey and party v. Bourke. — Failing to pay the sum of LB, due on agreement. No appearance. Case dismissed.
Resident Magistrate's Court. (Before M. Keogh, Esq., R.M.) Thursday. September 19.
Hutchinson v. Norby. — Claim L 5. No appearance. Case dismissed.
STAFFORD TOWN. Friday, September 20. Delaeour v. Garner. — Claim LI 3 12s 2d No appearance. Case dismissed.
Tuesday, September 21.
Turner v. Adams. — Claim L 3 7s 6d. No appearance of plaintiff. Judgment for defendant.
Ballin v. Peel.— Claim Ll9 11s. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed, with costs of Court.
Sandle r. Winsfone — Stafford, v. Lokey —$anie v. Nash — and Mullins v. Fitzpatrick. — There was no appearance of plaintiffs or defendants. Stafford v. Winstone and Co. — Claim L 5 13s 3d.. Case adjourned till Ist October proximo, at plaintiff's request.
Friday, September 20. CRIMINAL CASES.
Salomnn v. Wheeler. — Using language calculated to provoke a breach of the peace. Convicted. Ordered to find sureties — himself in L 25, and two of LlO each, to be of good behaviour for six months. STABBIKa AND WOUNDING.— Robert Summers, brought up on remand, charged with this offence, was further remanded for a week. The Court then adjourned.
