RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Drunk and Incapable. — Lanyon Scoresby, an old offender, was sentenced to fourtoen days' imprisonment, without the option, of paying a fine.
Dbusk and Disobdebly. — Jane Sinclair was fined LI, or in default to be imprisoned for eight-and-forty hours.— She was then charged with using obscene language in a public place, and fined LI, with the usual alternative. — A furthor charge of destroying the waterproof of the constable who arrested her was preferred against Jane Sinclair. She was fined LI, and ordored to pay L 2, the value of the property destroyed. Laboent. — Henry Bolton, alias Bevorley, on remand from the 16th inst. for sentence, was brought up. The prisoner ploadod guilty to three charges of larceny of goods of the
value of 30s, 50s, and 20s respectively. His Worship sentenced him to one month's imprisonment on each charge, the sentences to be cumulative. The Court was then adjourned till eleven o'clock on Monday the 19th inst.
