AUSTRIA.
The Minister of Finance published on May 2oth, the financial returns for the first '.quarter of the current j'ear. During this period the expenditure Avas 102,408,263 florins, and the revenue 86,107,401 florins, leaving a deficit of 16,300,862 florins. This will be covered by certain funds in the public Treasury, which are at the disposal of the Government, and by some extraordinary financial resources, Avhich are available for that purpose.
