Another scene took place in the Absembly to-day, on a question relating to the use of special trains on. the occasion of the recent special Government picnic. Strong language was Übed on both bidet 1 . The markets are inactive; the merchants being engaged with mail business*. At auction, sales of Adelaide fiour were made at Ll3 10s ; Chilian, LlO 10s. . In the estate of Dibbs and Co 6s 8d in the pound has hi en accepted. The tallow market is tinner. Hides are unaltered. The Legislative Council has passed the second rending of the Education Bill by a large majority. The Gold Duty Reduction Bill has been passed through committee. The steamer Eagle, for Adam Bay, has put back to Brisbane, with machinery injured.
