N.B.— This steamer conveys passengers and mails to Wellington, to meet tho outgoing Panama steamer. For Sydney direct— The CLAUD HAMILTON, on or about sth. For Bluff Habbok and Dunedin (transhipping into the Otago at Bluff Harbor for Melbourne)— The EGMONT, on or about 10th. For Nelson, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff Haebob, and Melboubne — The OTAGO, on or about 10th. For Nelson, Picton, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff Habbob, and Melboubne, transhipping at Wel« lington for Sydney, Taranaki, and Maaukau— The RANGITOTO, on or about ISth. For Bluff Haebob and Dunedin (transhipping into the Rangitoto at Dunedin for Melbourne)— The LORD ASHLEY, on or about 21st. For Nelson and Wellington (transhipping at the latter port for Napier, Tauranga, and Auckland)— The CLAUD HAMILTON, on or about 26th. Eor Bluff Habboe and Dunedin — The AIREDALE, on or about 29th. The above first-class steamers, replete with every accommodation for passengers, will be despatched according to the above dates, as punctually as the circumstances of Hokitika will permit. Parties desirous of bringing their families or friends to Hokitika from any port embraced by the Company's operations, can make ariangements for so doing with the undersigned. The Panama, New Zealand, and Australian Royal Mail Company's steamship M A T A U R A, 1767 tons register, 550-horse power, Geobge Edwabd Bibd, R.N.R., Commander, Is appointed to leave Wellington for Panama, on * SATURDAY, Bth DECEMBER, with" Her Majesty's mails for PANAMA, SOUTHAMPTON, and INTERMEDIATE PORTS. Passengers, specie, and goods from Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand Ports, booked through to Southampton, Panama, and Colon, for the East and West Coasts of North and South America, and West Indies. First-class passengers are allowed 20 cubic feet for luggage : second-class, 15 cubic feet. All luggage must be delivered at the company's office twenty -four hours before the departure of the steamer, when it will be labelled, manifested, weighed, and measured. All excess to be paid for as measurement goods. For further particulars, apply at the company's offices. To prevent the disappointment consequent upon adverse weather, rendering it impossible to embark by the branch steamer leaving Hokitika on the 3rd to meet the outgoing Panama steamer, which leaves Wellington on the Bth monthly, Passengers for Panama and Southampton are respectfully informed, that they have the option (without any additional charge) of proceeding to Wellington by any of the Company's branch steamers, which leave Hokitika for that port on or about the 10th, 19th, and 27th.
