Hawkins ... 10 0 Of this sum there has been received £387 16s, leaving to be collected . . 41 4 0 £429 0 0 It will be "seen that the amount thus raised by subscription will necessarily leave a large debt on the buildings now completed. There are, however, two other source? on which -the Building Committee may rely — one, the sums received during this current year for seats in church.; and the other, the gift auction which has been set on foot in a moat liberal spirit. It is uncertain -whether these will suffice to clear the church of debt, and I would therefore appeal to all who have taken an interest in the establishment of the church and its regular ministrations, to do what they can to free the Building Committee of the responsibility they have incurred.
