RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
(Hefore G G. FitzGerald, Esq., R.M.) Fkiday, November 9. Committing a Nuisance.—Henry Crawford and Robert Ron ton were charged with depositing rubbish. The hearing of this charge was deferred till to-morrow (this day). Assault, &c.—John Dougherty (on bail), charged with assaulting a female with intent to commit a rape, not appearing, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Lahceny.—Daniel Burns, alias Sullivan; on remanii, charged with stealing thirty ounces of gold, of the value of Ll 14, was, at the request of the police, remanded till Tuesday next. Larceny.—Win. AVylie charged with the like offence, was also remanded to the same day. There'being no other business, the Court was then adjourned till to-morrow (this day). " '
