The business of the day, with the exception of the sale of sugars, ex Sarah, lias been but moderate. Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn md Co. report the prices obtained to be about as follows : — Fine white crystals, L3B los, down to L 36 ; yellow and grey crystals, L 35 10s to L 33; counters, L 34 to' L3O 10s ; browns, L 27 10s to L 23;2 3; exhibiting a considerable rptfaetion upon the prjee.s which, were obtained
for the previous cargo ; there were, however, no very fine whites in the shipmont, and the browns were of a lower class than usually imported. General quotations are without material alteration. — " Otago Daily Times," Oet 25.
