No sales of coarse have come under'our notice, but wo learn of fmelhaving been disposed' of at a shade under L 6, Cdrnsacks continue to be disposed of in quantity at 13s, all offering at this figure being l-eadily purchased on speculation. About forty bales changed hands to-day at our quotation. In liquids we learn of sales of Blood's bottled stout at 10s 3d to 10s Gd. For a small parcel -of Whitbread's stout L 6 10s has been accepted. , Transactions in Hennessy's case brandy camo under our notice at full ratesS Further sales of kerosene oil have tranap'iretl at 3s 6d, and as some large importers have been cleared but of lato, tluro is more desire to purchase evinced. Trade sales of yellow brewing crystals are reported at L 36. Patna rice is disposed of amongst the trade at from L2B to 1)28 10s. The auction sale of. oilmen's stores did not result salisfac-> torily, a groat portion of what was offered not having been sold ; and in many cases a decline on last week's prices had to be submitted to before sales could 'be effected."
