XJV, No. 2," we, the undersigned Householders of the town ot Hokitika (having signed the Petition praying that Hokitika might be constituted a' Municipal District), hereby call a PUBLIC MEETING, of householders and others who are entitled to vote for the election of members of the Hokitika Municipal 'Council, to bo held at the Prince of .Wales 1 Opera House, on TUESDAY, the 25th day of September, 1866, ' at 4 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing two persons to act as Assessors at the election of Municipal Councillors ; and also for the purpose of nominating Candidates for. the Hokitika Municipal Council. .
