MILITARY REVOLT IN SPAIN.

Madrid, June 23.

Yesterday the Fifth Regiment of Foot Artillery, and a regiment of horse artillery, revolted without their officers. The ban-acks they occupied were, however, retaken l<y the troops remaining faithful to the Government, and after an obstinate resistance the rebels surrendered at discretion, General Narvaez was slightly wounded. The insurgents had twenty six guns, and furnished arms to 'the populace, who threw up barricades. The troops succeeded, however, in dominating the movement, and order is now completely restored. 600 insurgents have been taken prisoners.

Madrid, June 23, 6 p.m. Public order has not been disturbed in any other part of the peninsula.

Madrid, June 24.

"Measures have been taken to insure the maintenance of public security in Catalonia, where some insurrectionary movements are appprehended amongst the garrisons.

Public order has not been disturbed since yesterday. Under the apprehension of further insurrectionary attempts preventive measures have been adopted by the Government among the provincial garrisons. Marshall Concha has assumed the military command in Catalonia, and General Serrano in Andalusia.

Barcelona, June 24.

Some companies of troops in the garrison at Gerona revolted yesterday under their subaltern officers and proceeded towards the frontier. The troops remaining faithful to the Government are marching to cut off their retreat. Barcelona and Catalonia are tranquil.

Paris, June 23. "La France " of this evening states that General Prim was arrested yesterday at Bayonne and reconducted to Paris.

Pauis, June 24.

"La France," contains a telegram from Bayonne, according to which the rumored arrest of General Prim in that town has not been confirmed.

The " Presse" states positively that General Prim has gone to Gerona, in Catalonia, where he was expected by the garrison, who have just revolted. The following telegram was received this morning (June 26) at the Spanish Embassy in London :—: —

Pakis, June 25.

The companies belonging to the Regiment of Baylen, which revolted on Saturday at Gerona, having been closely pursued, have taken refuge in Prance, and have lain down their arms.

Barcelona, June 24, evening. The soldier 3 who revolted at Gevoiia have taken refuge in France to the number of 700. They were immediately disarmed and conveyed to Ceret.

Madrid, June 25.
