The sales closed on 23rd June, number of bales catalogued, 157 M^ , The recent failures and the tightness in the money market caused a decline of twopence halfpenny on all descriptions, but the best Port Philip clips ruled from 2d to 4d lower, owing to the low prices of Sileria fleeces. Good and middling Sydney reduced in price.
