The private flag of each steam company will be hoi&'.ed at the masthead when the vessel is passing EencaiTOw Heads. The P.N.Z. and A.R If. Company's flag and Uuion Jack will dencte the approach of Panama steamers ; the white fbig and Union Jack, the English mail. Two bluo pendants at the masthead will denote, for tlie information of the pilot at the Heads, that a pilot is on board the vessel going out. Two blues and the first distinguishing pendant will denote to the pilot at the Head 3 that his services are required in the harbor.
