- The question _of- the— validity - of- -Mr Moorhouse's return as the representative of Westland in the General Assembly, has been finally settled. He takes his seat for this district, and Mount Herbert will have to choose another representative. Mr Moorhouse has arrived in Christchurch by the Airedale, but will doubtless return to Wellington in^a few days, to enter, upon his Parliamentary duties.
