The "Daily Times" of July 13th reports :—: — Business has exhibited a little more liveliness, but buyers still shew an unwillingness to operate freely. The values of staple goods are but little changed, except in the ai'tiele malt, which has been placed at considerably reduced prices, and markets on the whole appear steady. No large sales of brcadstuffs a: c , reported ; the last cargos of flour still in im--porters hands. .Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn, and Co. held a sale of damaged soft goods and groceries, realising prices closely approximating to the values of sound goods.
