XIV, No 2.,'* wo, tho undorsignod householders of tho town of Hokitika (having signed tho petition praying that Hokitika might bo constituted a Municipal District), horoby call a publio mooting of householders and others, who aro ontitlcd to vote for tho election of members of tho Hokitika Municipal Council, to bo held at tho Prince of Wales Opera Houso, on Wednesday, tho 27th day of Juno, 1866, at 4 o'clock p.m., for tho purpose of electing two porsons to act as assessors at tho election of Municipal Councillors j and, also for tho purpose of nominating candidates for tho Hokitika Municipal Council.
