June 19th. — Arrived: Airedale, s.s., fr«m Hokitika ; Phoebe, from tho North.
June 20th, — Sailed: Phoebe, s.s., for Wellington, with mail and passengers for Panama by the Kaikoura.
Nothing has been discovered of the..four men'who are missing in the Wakamarina district ; it is feared they were murdered in the vioinity of the Manngatuputoi. An aotive searoh for them has been instituted. Their names are Felix Mathews, John Kempthorne, James Dudley, and James Pontius. Four men were arrested yesterday evening on suspicion, and after examination to-day, remanded. It is almost a certainty that eight parties are implicated in this dark affair. The names of those arrested are William Levy alias Phil, Richard Henry Miller, Thomas Joseph M'Gee, an<l Thomas Nopn.
