Donne, late lessee of the Theatre Royal and tho Royal Princess Theatre, Dunedin, has' the honor to intimate that, having failed to effect arrangements with the management of the Prince of Wales Opera House for tho above-named Troupe to appear at that theatre, lie has been compelled to avail himsolf of the only other suitable public building in the town, viz., tho Theatre Royal (originally built for tho Stevens' Troupe) which has been, kindly placed at his disposal by th© proprietor, Mr Smith. Mr Donne begs to stato the Theatre will bo well lighted and seated, and every care taken to contribute to tho comfort and convenience of visitors. Smoking will bo strictly prohibited, and Ushers will be in attendance to see that ladies and gentlemen securetheir reserved seats, and will otherwise attend to the good order of the establishment.
