A force pump, driven vortically from tho crank shaft, is attached to the boiler for supplying it with water ; but a Gifford's injector can bo applied instead if required. All pins, oyes, and nuts, aro caso hardened ; and self-acting lubricators, wrought out of tho solid material, aro fitted to the journals and slides.
