RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before G. G. FitzGerald, R.M.) Monday, May 14. Drunk and Disorderly. — James Quig and Thomas Hughes were fined £1 for thia offence or in default 48 hours imprisonment. Robbery with Violence. — Edward Jones charged with this offence was remanded until Tuesday the 21st on the application of the police. A similar application was made by Inspector Broham in a charge of larceny from a dwelling made agaiast Richard Rogers and John Aldridge, which was also granted by the Bench. The Court was then adjourned until one o'clock, and on returning the enquiry into the loss of the Maria was proceeded with. The following list of civil casos is set down for hearing this day : — M'Lean v. Montagu; Bain and Houghton v. Hall and Finlay; M'Gregor v. Armitage; Cassius v. Meyer ; Kennedy v. Glogoski; same v. Pennyfather ; same v. Limbvick; Gibbons v. Duff and Co. 1 Bernta v. Layton; Clarke v. Collins; Woon v, Curloy.
