All duties of Customs under this Act shall be charged and paid according to the standard imperial weights and measures and where such duties are charged according to any specified quantity woight or size the same shall bo chargeable ratoably on any greater or less quantity weight or size. , The duties of Customs imposed by this Act shall be raised loviod collected and paid under the provision of " Tho Customs Regulation Act, 1858," and subject also to all such provisions and regulations as may for time being bo in force for tho collection management and receipt of tho duties of import in tho colony of Now Zealand. Tho "Customs Duties Amendment Act 1861 " and tho " Military Supplies Customs Act 1862" shall apply to all duties of Customs payable undor this Act. In tho event of any increase under this Act in tho duties of Customs chargeable upon any goods wares^or merchandise after tho making of any contract or agreement for tho sale or dolivery of such goods duty free it shall be lawful for tho seller in case such increaso shall acoruo before the clearance and delivery from tho warehouso of such goods at such iucreased duty and after payment thereof to add so much money to tho contract price as will be equiva.ent to such increase of duty and ho shall be entitled to bo paid and to sue for and recover tho same. Sciew-eutting*L ithes, Tho following under Sub-Section No. 7 :— Carpet Bags, Forfiu- She&ting, Hats' (packed in hat-cases), Limo Juico, Manufactures of Jute or Hemp mixed with Silk, Cotton, or Wool, Paper Collars, Preserved Food— viz., Fish, Meats, Tripe and Vegetables, Scrim or Papering Canvas, Soup and Bouilli(in tins). The following under Sub-Section No. 14, are not liable to Duty :— All Metals manufactured into Ilod*, Bolt, Bar, and Sheeth.
