The extinguished Taeping robelliofo. has been followed by dangers equally menancing from the Neinfein and revolted braves in various parts of the empire. Pekin ism a dangerous position. The rebels have expressed a determination to sack the capital. The Neinfein advanced within twenty miles of Hankow. The surrounding villages were in flames, and the city crowded with wretched destitute refugees. The foreign residents were making all necessary preparations to meet the emergency. H.M. steamers Algerine and TardrifF prepared for action, and the enrolling and drilling of volunteers were proseouted with vigour. There is nothing of importance from Shanghai.
