Tho Claud Hamilton was to loavc Port Chalmers for Hokitika on tho 11th instant, and the Despatch, early. Tlio s.s. Star of tho South olearod Otago lioads at 6 p.m. on Tuosday, tho 10th instant, and arrived at Lyltelton at 10 p.m. on tho 11th, having experienced strong head winds most part of tlio passage Took in cargo and coals on tho 12th, and left for Hokitika on the 13th at 1 a.m., experienced light head winds and fine weather throughout the passago, and arrived off tho bar at midnight on tlio 15th ~No sign of tho Claud Hamilton in Tort Chalmers or Lyttelton, when the Star of tho South left. Passod a steamer off Capo Farewell on Saturday evening, at 8 p.m., probably tho Wallabi, bouud towards Nelson. Saw the s.s. Wonga Wonga at anchor undor Capo Foulwiud on Sunday night.
