Saturday., 14th Apbii<. Dbunk and Incapable. — Alexander Thompson, an ojd offender, was fined 40s, or tour days' imprisonment, for baing drunk and incapable. Drunk and Disorderly — Robert Morrison was for this offence fined £l , or 48 hours' imprisonment. Lukacy — Jane Lyons and Henry Harnett were charged with being of unsound mind, and were both remanded until the sixteenth instant for medical examination. John Robinson was also brought up on remand from the sixth instant on a similar charge, and discharged on the evidence of Drs Ryley and Berndt. The Court was then adjourned until 11 o'clock this day.
There were 23,000 persons woighed on the Bcalefl at the Boston U.S. Meohanio'fl Fair. Tho average weight of men was 141}lb ; averago weight of women was 124-ilb. Tho largest man weighed 2731 b. The largest woman weighed 874i1b.
