The lots advertised for sale, at an upset price of £48 per acre, aro situated near the busy parts of the town, and comprise 314 sections, varying in size from one twentieth to one eighth of an acre, 160 of whioh sections have already been built upon by holders of business licenses, whioh is an assurance that the land has already acquired a market value, which I will be further enhanced by tho increasing prosperity of the town. When last heard of he was working for a farmer, about twelve miles from Christchuroh. Ho is 33 years of age, about 6ft, 3in. high, dark complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, rather round shouldered : by trade a bricklayer, and a native of Wandsworth, near London.
