Applications will be received by the Waste Land Board, at Christchurch on and up to Friday, the Twentythird day of March ; and jit the Survey Office, Hokitika, and the Magistrate's Office, Greymouth, for transmission to the Waste Land Board, at Christchurcb, on and up to Saturday the Seventeenth day of March, One thousand eighthundred and sixty-six. 1597 Edw. Edw. JOLLIE. Provincial Secretary, 1599. Miscellaneous. mHE WEST COAST TIMES IS NOW PUBLISHED DAILY, being delivered every morning to subscribers before 7 o'clock. The West Coast Times is the only Daily Newspaper published in New Zealand out of Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. It contains in addition to Editorial and miscellaneous matter, full reports of local proceedings, the Courts of Law, Public Meetings, &c. A marked feature of the Times is the fullness and accuracy of its Shipping information and its daily reports of Imports. In undertaking the arduous responsibility of issuing a daily newspaper of full size and of high character in a young community like Hokitika, the proprietors and conductors of the West Coast Times are actuated by a desire to meet the requirements of a commerce that has already attained large dimensions, and is daily rapidly increasing. A Monthly Summary will, for the future, be published for transmission by the outgoing mail for Europe and the colonies. * More complete arrangements are in progress for the supply of mining intelligence from the various diggings ; and no effort will be omitted to render the West Coast Times a Fiest-Class Daily Jouenal. The subscription to the West Coast Times is 12s. per month, paid in advance. The Quarters commence on the Ist days of January, April, July, and October. Subscribers desiring to commence at any other time can do so by paying for the fractional part of the unexpired term. Subscribers finding any irregularity in he prompt delivery of their papers are •e'quested to communicate with the proprietors.
