An oxhibition of tho produots, manufactures, and arts of New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Victoria, will be hold in Molbourno in 1866. The Exhibition will open not earlior than tho month of August, and will romain open for not less than two months. Tho Commissioners will bo prepared to receive articles intended for oxhibition from tho Ist to tho 21sfc of July inclusive. In ordor to givo tho Commissioners tho opportunity of making adequate arrangoinonts, forms of application for spaco should be sent in without delay, and in no caso will applications bo received later than tho 17th Juno, 1866. Intending exhibitors aro requost^d to givo a full description of their goods on tho form on tho other eido, and particularly to doscribo all points of novelty or originality in tho objects exhibited. Exhibitors must state whother thoy aro tho designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of tho articles thoy proposo to exhibit. Tho Commissioners reserve to themselves tho right to rcceivo for exhibition only, and not for competition (if spaco admit), any object not the produco of tho above-mentioned Colonies, which may bo considered to possoss especial morit. The Commissioners decline to receive any article thoy may think unsuitablo to tho Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishablo, or dangerous ohnracter. Counters and wall space will be provided. j All goods and articles for oxhibition must be delivered at tho building at tho charge niul risk of tho exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at the building, Should tho oxhibitors or their agents not be present, tho packages will 0 oponcd by tho ollicors of tho Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of tho exhibitor. Tickots will bo issued to oyory exhibitor, his agent, or sorvant, to onablo him to pass into the building betwoen certain hours to arrango tho articles for oxhibition. These tickets must bo produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep in ordor tho artioles they exhibit, or to oxplain them to visitors, aftor obtaining writtqn permission from tho Commissioners to that effect. Freo admission, within limits to be fixed by the^ Commissioners, will be given to visitor or their ngonts,, Effectual means will bo taken, through tho agency of tho polico aud othorwise, to guard against firo and protect $ho property in tho exhibition ; but the Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbory, acoident, or damago of any kind. Medals or certificates of merit will bo awarded in tho different classes. Prices may bo affixed to tho articles exhibited. Artioles of groat size and weight, tho placing of which will requiro considornblo labor, must bo sent on or beforo tho 14th of Juno ; and persons wishing to exhibit machinery or other objects that will requiro foundations, must make a declaration to that offect in their application for space Any oxhibitor whoso goods can properly bo placed togother will bo at liberty to arrango such gooda in his own way, provided his arrangements aro compatiblo with tho gonoral scheme of tho oxhibition, and tho convonionco of other oxhibitors.
