An exhibition of tho produots, manufactures, nnd nrts of Noiv South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Wostorn Australia, Tasmania, Now Zealand, and Vicloiin, will bo hold in Mclbourno, in 1866. Tho Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month of, August, and will remain open for not less than two months. The Commissioners will bo prtparcd to receive articles intended for exhibition from tho Ist to tho 21st of July inclusive In order to givo tho Commissioners tho opportunity of making' ndequato arrangements, forms of application for spaco should be sont in without.dolay, nnd in no oaso will applications bo recoived lator than tho 17th Juno, 1866. Intonding exhibitors aro requested to givo a full description of their goods on tho form on tho other sido, and particularly to describe nil points of novelty or originality in tho objects exhibited. Exhibitois must stats whether they are tho designers, inventors, liinnufacfciirer.s, or producers of tho articles they proposo to exhibit. Tho Commissioners reserve lo thcmsclvrs the right to receive for exhibition only, and not for competition (if space admit), any object not the produce of tho above-mentioned Colonies, which may bo considered to possess especial merit. The Commissioners doclino to receive any nrticlo they may think unsuitable lo the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, ofl'onsive, perishable, or dangorous character. " Counters nud wall space will bo provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must bo delivered at iho building at tho charge and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho building. Should Iho exhibitors or their agents not bo present, tho packages will 0 opened by the ollicors of tho Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of tho oxhjbilor. Tickets will bo issued to ovory exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building between certain hours to arrange tho articles for exhibition. Theso tickets must bo produced on entrance, nnd given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistants to keep iv order tho artioles thoy oxliibit, or to oxplnin them to visitors, nfter obtaining written permission from tho Commissioners to that effect. Froo admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitor or their agents,, . Effectual means will bo taken, through tho agency of tho police and otherwise, to guard against firo and protect the property in tho exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not bo responsible for losses by firo, robbory, accident, or damago of any kind.
