HIS Honour the Superintendent directs it to be notfiied that lie has fixed Friday, the sixth day of April, One thousand eight hundred and sixty > six, at the hour of noon, at a special sitting of the Waste Land Board atGreymouth, as the time and place when a sale by auction of Town Lands shall take place, in accordance with clause 24 of the Waste Land Regulations, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and in conformity with the Regulations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Land of the Crown, now in force within the Province of Canterbury. Tho West Coast Times is tho only Daily Newspaper published in Now Zealand out of Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin. It contains in addition to Editorial and miscellaneous matter, full reports of local proceedings, tho Courts of Law, Publio Meetings, &c. A marked foaturo of the Times is the fullness and accuracy of its Shipping information and its daily reports of Imports. In undertaking tho arduous responsibility of issuing a daily newspaper of full size and of high character in a young community like Hokitika, tho proprietors and conductors of tho West Coast Times are actuated by a desiro to meet tho requirements of a commcrco that has already attained largo dimensions, and is daily rapidly increasing. A Monthly Summary will, for tho future, bo published for transmission by the outgoing mnil for Europe and the colomos. Moro comploto arrangements aro in progress for tho supply of mining intelligence from tho various diggings ; and no effort will be omitted to render tho West Coast Times a First-Class Daily Jouhnal. Tho subscription to tho West Coast hum is 12s. per month, paid in advanco. Tho Quarters commence on the Ist days of January, April, July, and October. Subscribers dosiring to commence at any other time can do so by paying for the fractional part of the unoxpired term. Subscribers finding any irregularity in tho prompt delivery of their papers are requested to communicate with tho proprietors,
