An exhibition of Mi- 1 products, raanu f actures, nnd arts of Ne» dmitli Wales, o\ith Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and Vicoria, will be held in Melbourno in 1866. Th>» Exhibition will open not earlier than the month of August, and will remain open for not less <han two months. The Commissioners "'il! be pit.ymred to receive ai tide* intended for exhibition from the Ist t ihe 21s of July inclusive. In order to give the C'lnmissionen the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of ippliciition for spaco^ should he sent in without delay and in no ense will applications l>o ii'oeived later than th ■ I7ib June. 1860. Intending exhibitors uro requests! to givo a full description of their goods on the form on the other sid» anf 1 particularly to dfesoribe all points of noveliy or originality in tho objects exhibited. Fixhibitoih must stak whether th.-y are the designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of the articles they propose to exhibit. The Commissioners res. rye to themselves the right to receive for exhibi ion only, and not for competition (if space admit), any object not ihte piodnceof the above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to posses* especial merit. The Commissioners decline to receive any article they may think unsnittble to the Exhibition, or objects of an .inflammatory, offensive, perishable, or dangerous character. ' Counters and wall space will be provided. All goods and anicles for exhibition muaC be delivered at the building at tho charge and risk of the exhibitor. Articles and paokagos will be unloaded at tho building. Should the exhibitors or their agents not be present, the packages will c opened by the offi ' cers of the Exhibition, and tho contents distributed with care, but at the risk of the exhibitor Tickets will be issued to every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building between certain hours to arrango the articles for exhibition Theso tickets must bo produced on entranco, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistant* to keep in order the articles they exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioners to that effect. Free admission, wiihin limits to be fixod by the Commissioners, wilt be given to visitors or their agents. Effecuul means will bo taken, through tho agency of the pblice and otherwise, to guard against firo and protect the propnrty in ihe exhibition ; but the Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by fire, robbery, acoident, or damage of any kind.
