The Hobart Town Mercury of tho 6th inst., ;ives tho following market report : — '

Business during to-day has beon slack, and wo havo no important transactions to report. Tho breadstuffe murket is steadily declining. Colonial wheat was sold to-day at 8s 6d per bushel, and 9s is now tho outsido price. At tho mills, first-class colonial flour is quoted at £22 por ton, and foreign flour is almost unsaleable. Othor produco continuos at our former ratos, viz. :— Sharps, £9 por ton ; bran, Is 3d por bushol ; oats, old, 5s per bushol ; new, 43 to 4s 3d por bushol j barloy, English, 5s 6d por bushol; Capo, 4 s por bushol j hay, pressed, £4 10s to £5 por ton ; buttor, Is 8d to Is 9d por lb.
