English cheese is much asked for ; scarcely any but new Colonial is in the market, for which Is Id is realised. Butter, now coming to hand more freely, has declined to Is Sri to ]s 9d. Oats are reported as being reduced in value, 5s to 5s 3d being present holders' rat's. All kinds of building materials are firm at la«t quoted value?. Iron, ex Paria, is reported as having been placed at full prices.
