Rrqulations for thk guidance oi Intending Exhibitors. An exhibition of tho products, manufactures, and arts of Netv South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, nnd Victoria, will be held in Melbourne in 18fe6. The Exhibition will open not earlier than tho month of August, and will remain open for not less than two months. 0 The Commissioners will bo prepared to receivo articles intended for exhibition from the Ist t the 21st of July inclusive. In order to give the Commissioners the opportunity of making adequate arrangements, forms of application for space should be sout in without delay, and in no case will applications be received later than the 17th June, 1866. Intending exhibitors are requested to givo n full description of their goods on the form on the other side, am l particularly to describe all points of novelty or originality in the objeots exhibited. Exhibitors must state whether thoy are tho designers, inventors, manufacturers, or producers of the articles thoy propose to exhibit. The Commissioneis reserve to themselves the right to receive for exhibition only, nnd not for competition (if space ndmit), nny object not the produce of the above-mentioned Colonies, which may be considered to possess especial merit. The Commissioners decline to receive nny article they may think unsuitable to the Exhibition, or objects of an inflammatory, offensive, perishable, or dangerous character. Counters and wall space will be provided. All goods and articles for exhibition must be delivered, at the building at the charge and risk of uiu exhibitor. Articles and packages will bo unloaded at tho building. Should the exhibitors or their agents not be present, the packages will be opened by the ollicers of the Exhibition, and the contents distributed with care, but at tho risk of the exhibitor. Tickots will bo issued to every exhibitor, his agent, or servant, to enable him to pass into the building botweeu certain hours to arrange tho articles for exhibition- Those tickets must bo produced on entrance, and given up when required. Exhibitors may employ assistunts to keep in order the articles thoy exhibit, or to explain them to visitors, after obtaining written permission from the Commissioners to that effect. Free admission, within limits to be fixed by the Commissioners, will bo given to visitors or thoir agents. Effectual means will be taken, through tho agency of the police aud otherwise, to guard against fire nnd protect the property in the exhibition ; but tho Commissioners will not be responsible for losses by ire, robbery, accident, or damago of any kind. Medals or certificates of merit will be awarded in tho different classes Prices may be affixed to the articles exhibited. Articles of great size and weight, the placing of which will require considerable labor, must be sent on or before the 14th of June ; and persons wishing to exhibit maohinery or other objects that will require foundations, mutt make a declaration to that effect in their Application for space. Any exhibitor whoso goods can properly bo place 1 together will be at liberty to arrange such goody in bis own way, provided his arrangements are compatible with the genoral scheino of the exhibition, and the convenience of other exhibitors.
