The p.s. Bruno yesterday returned from her usual weekly trip to Okaritn, having nuulo tin oxcellcnt passage both ways. She left Jlokitika last Thursday nt (J p.m., crossed tho hay safely; mid after transhipping a. number of passc-ngcra into tho Egii'ont proceeded on her trip to tho southward. Abbot's Head was made on Friday ut 1 a.m., when tho Brueo hovo to hi- three hours waiting for daylight and tide time, and nt 5 a.m. ran in and crossed the bar. She discharged her cargo (lint day ; tho next morning, found her roa ly for sea, but in consequence of tho impassable slato of the bar she was compelled to remain inside until 8 tv.m. yesterday, when tho sea having gone down , she steamed outside, and after a smart run' of five hours anchored oft' Ilokitilca, arriving at ,tho whurf safely at 5 p.m. The, Bruco brings back about twenty passengers,' many of whom had return tickets for tho trip.
