NOTICE TO MARINERS AT THE GREY. THE outer flagstaff has been discontinued, and a skeleton boacon placed on, tho beach, which in a lino with the flagstaff, will cross tho bar in tho deepest water. Attention is to be paid, as heretofore, to tho movements of tho semaphore. Tho lower mast has been boarded to seaward, showing a flat surface of 17 in., painted whito to mako it mop conspicuous. Tho skeleton beacon is 16 ft* high above tho uppor part of tho bank, and a flag-pole 6 ft. above that showing^a red flag. The signals in uso at tho Grey are tho samo as thoso at tho port of Hokitika.
