TO^ SUBSCRIBERS, ADVERTISERS, AND THE PUBLIC.
Tho opportunity is now afforded tho proprietors, of this journal, by the arrival of a steam printing machine and tho necessary plant, of announcing its, early issuo as a
DAILY NEWSPAPER.
Tho first number of tho Wkst Coast Tijiks, as ii daily journal, will |bo published on the Ist January next. «
The Subscription will bo Twe&vk Sim,LiNas per Month, lo bo paid in advance Subscriptions will bo received only at tho Publishing OiHce, or by an authorised Collector.
In tho delivery of the paper tho convenience of tho subscribers will lie consulted in the first iustance. The U3O of ofliclcut machinery will enable tho whole issue for subscribers to be delivered between tho hows of six and seven on the mornings of publication.
Subscribers are requested to provido boxes or other receptacles to facilitate a speedy delivery of their papers. The hours at which each day's publication commences and closes will be announced in tho following morning's paper for tho information of subscribers ; and it is requested tm\l any complaint of irregularity ox delay in delivery may bo made to tho Publisher in writing. Tho Scale of Charges for advertisements will be reconstructed. t No advertisements will bo received later than seven o'clock on the evoning prior to publication, with tho exception of auction advortisoinonts, which will be taken up to oight o'clook p.m.
Any Advertisements received after thoso hours will bo charged double. / All notices inserted above the leader will be charged double the price of ordinary advertisoments.
Engraved cuts in advertisements will not in any caso bo admitted, A Monthly Summary of News will ho specially printed for despatch by the outgoing English Mails. Parties requiring extra copies of theso issues nro requested to send their orders to the publishing ollice, as early as convenient, on the. .day prior to publication. Persons residing at a distanco froni^ town desirous of having iho Summary edition, posted to foreign places, may make arrangements with tho Publisher for that purvioso.
Captains of vessols in port will bo furnished gratuitously with copies of tho papor on sonding to ,the ollice.
Hotelkeopers subscribing for two copies of tho Times will bo entitled to nny extra number of copies they may rcquiro, at one half tho ordinal y rate of subscription.
