London, Ootober 27.—Money market is unsettled, and great stringency is oxeroieed, September 29, the discount roso to U nov cent; October 2, to 5; on 6th, to 6; and 7th, to 7 per cont, where it still romains. Trado, in general, is in a sound stato.' The stringent efforts of tho Bank of England to retrieve its position, owing to an immense dram of bullion for tho Continent, excites a littlo alarm. Tho movement in the sharo market is depressed, owing to the rapid advance of money, and measures for tho relations between England and America. A committeo of Confederate bondholders roporb that tho contractors hove no monoy for payment of interest. Tho Chartered Bank of India, Australia, and China pays v dividend of 5 per cent, per annum. The Oriental Bank dividend is 6 per cent. Tho half-yearly quinquennial dividend of the Royal Insurance Company is £2 per cont pec annum. Tho Board of Trfule returns, published, show a decrease in value of exports during tho last nine months.
