The Southland News, of tho 21st, says :— On Saturday nil our business men wore occupied with tho outgoing mail. The advices now ovor duo, being hourly oxpected, influence markets, and prevent any speculation. To-day tho weathor has been cold, wet, and stormy ; we have consequently no transactions whatever to report whioh may have any effect on prices.
